What do you want to know? A special AMA episode for The Human Algorithm Podcast
What are some burning questions you have for me?
Over the years, I have written countless stories—stories about brands, the evolution of ad tech, the fight for LGBTQIA+ representation, and the complexities of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
But today, I want to turn the page and write a different kind of story—a story that includes you.
I’m in the midst of recording the first season of The Human Algorithm Podcast, a project born from my desire to explore the intersections of media, technology, and DEI while amplifying underrepresented voices. It’s a space where we confront hard truths, celebrate progress, and delve into the deeply human stories shaping our industries and our lives.
As part of this journey, I’m inviting you to be part of a special “Ask Me Anything” episode. This isn’t just another Q&A—it’s a chance to connect, share, and explore the experiences that have shaped who I am.
Peeling back the layers
Here’s what you can ask about:
• My decade-long career as a journalist navigating the ever-evolving world of media, ad tech, and DEI.
• My journey as a queer, pansexual individual discovering identity, advocating for inclusion, and balancing personal authenticity with professional ambition.
• The deeply emotional highs and lows of parenting a neurodivergent child while balancing career pressures and societal expectations.
No question is off limits. Whether you’re curious about my perspective on LGBTQIA+ representation, want insights into the ad tech landscape, or are grappling with your own parenting challenges, I’m here to answer.
Why this matters
For years, I have reported on the stories of others—brands, businesses, advocates, and changemakers. Now, it’s time to turn the lens inward.
This AMA isn’t about perfection or polished soundbites. It’s about raw, unfiltered honesty. It’s about exploring what it means to be human in a world that often demands we fit into boxes.
How it works
Your questions will remain completely anonymous. You can ask anything without fear of judgment—no names, no contact details, just your curiosity.
The deadline for submissions is December 1.
The episode will be hosted by the brilliant Yan Yi Chee, an ad industry veteran turned development coach.
Formerly the managing partner of Ogilvy and APAC general manager for BBH, Yan Yi has an incredible ability to ask the right questions and create a space for meaningful, thoughtful dialogue.
Together, we will navigate your questions with care and authenticity.
Why you should participate
Because your questions matter. They have the power to spark conversations that resonate far beyond this podcast episode. They can create connections, challenge assumptions, and inspire others who may be navigating similar journeys.
This isn’t just an AMA episode. It’s an opportunity to build something bigger—a dialogue that fosters understanding, empathy, and growth.
My commitment to you
In this episode, I promise to show up as my full, imperfect self. I’ll share the messy, beautiful truths behind my journey—what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what I’m still learning.
If my story can help even one person feel seen or supported, this will have been worth it.
What’s on your mind?
So, what do you want to know? This is your chance to ask the questions you’ve always wondered about—whether it’s about my work, my personal life, or the moments that have shaped who I am.
