When I started sharing leadership stories on LinkedIn consistently in October 2025, I thought the quality of my insights would speak for itself.

I would write long posts with dense paragraphs, carefully packed with lessons. But no matter how hard I worked on them, the engagement was underwhelming. It was not the ideas that were the problem, but the way I was presenting them.

After I started using my H.A.L.O. framework, I started to see results. For example, I earned my first $5K in March 2025, my first $10K in June, and now, I have hit my first $15K in early August.

In 2025, this challenge is magnified by the state of LinkedIn’s algorithm, as many creators are reporting up to a 65% drop in impressions compared to last year.

Organic reach is harder to earn, community forums are filled with frustration, and even long-standing “best practices” like placing links in comments seem unreliable.

With around 40% of the feed now dominated by paid content, authority-based storytelling is the only way to consistently earn attention without paying for it.
