Guest appearance on The Forward Podcast: Rethink
I spoke to host Aziza O’Beirne about rethinking identity, building human-first brands, and why authenticity matters more than ever in an age of AI and automation.
In June, I had the chance to sit down with The Forward Podcast: Rethink to talk about what it really means to rethink the culture behind the technology.
In this conversation, I shared how Human Algorithm was born out of my desire to centre identity, storytelling, and trust in an age of automation. After more than a decade in the media industry, I realised the systems we work in rarely serve the people they claim to. So I left to build something that could.
We talked about personal branding, AI agents, and brand loyalty—but also the deeper stuff: parenting a neurodiverse daughter, navigating visibility as a gender-fluid founder, and the burnout that comes from trying to fit into broken systems.
“We live in an age of AI, in an age of automation but we still need that human connection. That’s why I chose the name Human Algorithm.”
If you’ve ever felt like you’re creating for people who don’t see you, or building in spaces that weren’t designed for you, this episode is for you.
