This is the final series of “8 ways to…”, where I share how taking action instead of waiting for something to happen helped me start my business.

For most of my career, I mistook momentum for clarity and thought I needed a 10-step plan before taking a single step.

That is how I ended up paralysed in strategy decks and self-doubt, waiting for conditions that never came.

Then my daughter was diagnosed with global developmental delay, and the luxury of waiting disappeared. I needed income and time, all at once.

However, I did not have a safety net or savings, just the ability to write, share, and build.

That was how Human Algorithm began, as one imperfect post became a newsletter, one reader became a client, and one month became a business.

These eight action-driving structures were born from that period of survival and rebuilding. They remind me that you don’t need to figure everything out; you need to move.
